Who is the course aimed at:
The course is aimed at healthcare workers who are new to the profession. It will aim to introduce newcomers into the healthcare sector to the basic skills needed for. You will learn how to perform chest compression and rescue breathing (CPR), how to operate an automated external defibrillator safely, and how to place an unconscious breathing victim in the recovery position.
COURSE DETAILS:
· Basic Life Support (BLS) is used to describe the maintenance of an airway and support for breathing and circulation in cases of cardiac arrest without the use of equipment other than a simple airway protective device.
· The purpose of BLS is to maintain adequate ventilation and circulation until means can be obtained to reverse the underlying cause of the arrest. Failure of the circulation for three to four minutes will lead to irreversible cerebral damage.
·The chances of survival after cardiac arrest are increased when commencing CPR prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

Maximum Candidates: 12 Candidates per session Duration: 09:00-17:00
Schedule of Training: Thursdays and Sundays
Certification: Provided up the successful Completion and included in the fee.
Tea and coffee will be provided in the morning and during breaks.
